Feb 28, 2024

Preparation time: <15 mins | Makes: approx. 16 balls

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 tablespoons coconut flour

  • 8 tablespoons almond meal

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence

  • 1 tablespoon golden flaxseeds

  • 3 heaped tablespoons smooth peanut butter

  • 2 heaped tablespoons macadamia nut butter

  • 3 tablespoons pure maple syrup

  • 1 teaspoon sea salt

  • 1/2 bag pana mylk choc chips (or any chop chip option you prefer - chopped 70% dark chocolate works really well here too)

METHOD

  1. Add all of your ingredients to a medium size mixing bowl and stir until combined

  2. if you notice the mixture is too dry or wet, use your peanut butter / almond meal to get the ideal consistency

  3. Roll into bite-size balls and layer into a storage container between sheets of baking paper to ensure they don’t stick to one another

  4. You can sprinkle with some sea salt on the top if you like them extra salty

  5. Enjoy!

These are the perfect bite-size treat if you get a craving for something sweet between lunch and dinner, or even after dinner. They’re low in added sugars so are carb-friendly for anyone monitoring their blood glucose, and don’t rely on sweetness or moisture from medjool dates like so many raw/vegan treats do…
