SALTED CHOC CHIP COOKIE DOUGH BITES
Preparation time: <15 mins | Makes: approx. 16 balls
INGREDIENTS
-
4 tablespoons coconut flour
-
8 tablespoons almond meal
-
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
-
1 tablespoon golden flaxseeds
-
3 heaped tablespoons smooth peanut butter
-
2 heaped tablespoons macadamia nut butter
-
3 tablespoons pure maple syrup
-
1 teaspoon sea salt
-
1/2 bag pana mylk choc chips (or any chop chip option you prefer - chopped 70% dark chocolate works really well here too)
METHOD
-
Add all of your ingredients to a medium size mixing bowl and stir until combined
-
if you notice the mixture is too dry or wet, use your peanut butter / almond meal to get the ideal consistency
-
Roll into bite-size balls and layer into a storage container between sheets of baking paper to ensure they don’t stick to one another
-
You can sprinkle with some sea salt on the top if you like them extra salty
-
Enjoy!
These are the perfect bite-size treat if you get a craving for something sweet between lunch and dinner, or even after dinner. They’re low in added sugars so are carb-friendly for anyone monitoring their blood glucose, and don’t rely on sweetness or moisture from medjool dates like so many raw/vegan treats do…
